Each fall, the community of Marcus welcomes neighbors and visitors for a free celebration filled with fresh-pressed cider, local traditions, family-friendly activities, and small-town hospitality. Marcus Cider Fest celebrates the people, history, and community spirit that make this corner of Northeast Washington so special.
The Festival Experience
Something for Everyone
Marcus Cider Fest brings together the flavors, traditions, entertainment, and community spirit of a classic small-town fall festival. Spend the day enjoying longtime favorites, local food, live entertainment, family activities, and the cider-making tradition at the heart of it all.
Fresh-Pressed Cider
Watch apples become fresh cider through traditional cider-making demonstrations, then enjoy the flavor that gives Marcus Cider Fest its name. This signature tradition connects visitors with the festival’s history and celebrates the craftsmanship behind every fresh-pressed jug.
Community Breakfast
Start the morning at 8:00 AM with a hearty community breakfast featuring a breakfast sandwich, hash brown, and your choice of coffee or hot cider. It’s a warm, welcoming way to gather before heading out to enjoy the rest of Marcus Cider Fest.
Marcus Parade
Gather along Highway 25 at 10:00 AM for the Marcus Parade, where local participants, community groups, and plenty of festival spirit move through the heart of town. It’s a lively tradition that brings neighbors and visitors together to celebrate Marcus.

Classic Car Show
Take a walk through a collection of classic cars, vintage trucks, and carefully preserved vehicles. For the best viewing, plan to visit the Classic Car Show between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM. There’s plenty to admire for automobile enthusiasts, and families.

Live Music
Enjoy live performances throughout the festival as local and regional musicians add energy to the day. With support from the Vinson Fund, live music remains an important part of Marcus Cider Fest, helping create the lively atmosphere and small-town charm visitors look forward to each year.

Beer Garden
Relax with friends and enjoy the festival atmosphere in the Beer Garden. This designated area gives adult guests a comfortable place to gather, listen to the music, and enjoy the celebration while taking in the sights and sounds of the day.
Vendors and Community Booths
Explore booths featuring handmade goods, local organizations, community groups, and nonprofit causes. The vendor area is a great place to discover local creativity, meet the people behind area organizations, and support the wider community.
Festival Food
Come hungry and explore a variety of food vendors and food trucks serving festival favorites, satisfying meals, snacks, and seasonal treats. Available selections may vary from year to year, giving visitors something new to discover each time.
Kids Carnival
Younger festival goers can enjoy the Kids Carnival with carnival-style games and opportunities for hands-on fun. These family-friendly attractions help make Marcus Cider Fest an enjoyable fall tradition for visitors of all ages.

Meet the Marcus Cyclops
The Machine That Changed Cider Fest
Before the Cyclops, making cider for the festival took a lot of hands and a lot of cranking. In the mid-1990s, local industrial electrician Dennis Jenson came up with a much bigger—and much more memorable—solution. Each year, apples are brought in from Wenatchee just for Cider Fest, then washed, lifted, ground, pressed, and turned into fresh cider right here in Marcus. With its big wooden wheel, moving baskets, belts, gears, and all kinds of working parts, the homemade press has become just as much fun to watch as the cider is to drink.
Known as the Marcus Cyclops, the press is more than just a machine. It represents the creativity, hard work, and community spirit that have shaped Marcus Cider Fest over the years. What started as a practical way to make more cider became one of the festival’s most recognizable traditions—and a lasting connection to the fresh-pressed cider that remains at the heart of the celebration.

Marcus Cider Fest welcomes arts and crafts vendors, non-profit organizations, and commercial vendors to take part in the 2026 festival. Share what you offer, connect with visitors, and become part of one of Northeast Washington’s favorite fall traditions.
Before You Apply
What to Bring
Vendors must provide their own booth, displays, weather protection, tie-downs, and extension cords when electricity is requested. Vendors are also responsible for applicable permits, licenses, and Washington sales tax.
Setup and Festival Hours
Friday setup begins at noon and continues until dusk. Saturday setup begins at 6:00 a.m. All unloading must be completed and vehicles removed from the park by 8:30 a.m. Booths must be ready to open by 9:00 a.m. and remain open until 5:00 p.m.

Nonprofit Organizations

Electrical access may be requested for an additional $5 and is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Vendors requesting electricity will be assigned space in the lower park. Most other vendors will be located in the upper park.
How to Apply
To request a 2026 vendor application, please email vendors@marcusciderfest.org.
Once you receive the application, complete the required information, sign the vendor agreement, and return the completed application as instructed. Applications and payment must be received by September 22, 2026.

Register for the 2026 Car Show
Bring your classic car, vintage truck, custom ride, or favorite vehicle to Marcus Cider Fest.
Registration is free, and preregistration is appreciated so the Car Show committee can plan enough space for participating vehicles.

Want to join the Marcus Cider Fest Parade too? Simply indicate it on your registration form. Parade participants will be directed to the parade lineup rather than general Car Show parking. Participants are asked to remain with the Car Show until at least 2:00 PM, if possible.

Marcus Cider Fest is heading into an exciting new chapter as a new festival committee steps into place and begins preparing for this year’s celebration.
